I have a seven year old Min Pin. He still insists on urinating on the furniture in the house.?

Is there any possible way to get him to no longer do this? He is ruining furniture, floors, rugs. About ready to give him away, just for that. He’s a very loyal dog, good with the kids, the other dogs in the house. The peeing is angering me fiercely.
His has been neutered for about four years.

Is he neutered? Males tend to mark. Neutered males mark less. Since he is 7 and has been doing this for 7 years, it’s going to take a lot of training and patience on your part.

Umm ever heard of the outdoors. That’s where dogs belong anyways.

Take him out to potty every hour, and take him to the vet to check for bladder infection.

Edit: Second poster…my dogs have all been indoors, big and small dogs. My house doesn’t stink of urine.

there is a spray at the pet store that dogs dont like much…you can spray it on the couch and it might help from him peeing on it.Or you can give him puppy diapers…which i dont recommend.
